Cookie Notice
This notice describes the cookies and similar technologies we use on our website and in the Sentia application. Similar technologies means browser storage that behaves like a cookie for privacy purposes, such as local and session storage. We treat them the same way we treat cookies.
Product analytics run by default. We do not show a consent banner and we do not ask you to choose before anything starts; this notice is the disclosure, and the controls described under Turning analytics off are how you decline. Nothing we set is used for advertising, and nothing we set leaves our analytics provider.
Two categories, no others
Strictly necessary. Signing you in, keeping your session secure, and remembering interface preferences such as light or dark mode. The site cannot function without these.
Product analytics. Understanding how the product is used, which pages are slow, and where people get stuck. This includes a replay of on-screen interactions and of what is typed into forms. Passwords are never recorded, and neither are fields we mark as sensitive. Inside the application we also do not record network request or response bodies, because those would carry your own content.
There is no third category. We have no advertising, targeting, personalization or social-media category, because we set nothing that would belong in one.

What we do not do
We run no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no retargeting pixels, no conversion tags and no ad network code of any kind. Nothing we set is used to build a profile of you across other websites, and nothing we set is shared with an advertiser or a data broker.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no opt-out for you to exercise on that point, because there is nothing to opt out of.
Turning analytics off
Block or clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings. That stops product analytics and removes the identifiers described above. Every feature of the product works identically without them.
You can also write to hello@sentialabs.ai and ask us to exclude you, or to delete analytics data already collected about you. We will do it and confirm when it is done. The rights you have over that data, and how to exercise them, are set out in our Privacy Policy.
The Sentia browser SDK
The Sentia browser SDK is a separate thing from this website: it is the library our customers install on their own products to send us their usage events. It is consent-first by design. It honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track, sets no cookies of its own, and drops the visitor's IP address before an event is stored.
Those signals govern the SDK on our customers' sites. They do not switch off the product analytics described in this notice, which are covered by the controls under Turning analytics off instead.
